Part of Patch · Pay per address

Know exactly which door to knock.

Patch scores a whole cluster as likely movers but keeps the exact address masked. Property Reveal confirms which specific home it is — with the occupier's name so your letter reaches the right door — one property at a time, or a whole hot cluster at once.

How it works

From masked pin to the exact door.

Property Reveal is the paid unmask step built directly into Patch. It never runs on its own — it works on the same scored pins and list rows you already use to find who's likely to move.

1

Patch scores the pin first

Before Property Reveal is relevant at all, Patch has already scored the property as a likely mover — a reduction, a withdrawal, a fall-through, stale stock or landlord stock — and shown you a masked street and outcode. The full address stays hidden until you decide it's worth paying for.

2

Tap Reveal — one pin or a whole selection

Reveal a single home from its why-panel, or tick a cluster on the map or list and hit Reveal all. Bulk selections run through one instant server-computed quote instead of a one-by-one check — up to 500 at once for pricing, 100 per execution batch.

3

See the exact cost before anything moves

A Confirm charge dialog opens first — "You are about to confirm this address" — showing whether it's included with your plan or priced, and the funding source (allowance, then wallet). Declining takes no money. For a bulk selection the same honesty scales up into a full receipt: already unlocked, included with your plan, beyond your allowance, and consent-gated.

4

It's yours to follow up, once

The confirmed address renders only from the reveal response — never guessed, never derived client-side. It's added to your Revealed list immediately, and re-opening the same property later for the same branch is free. Reveal once, use it as many times as you need.

Used responsibly, by design

Not every reveal is the same kind of data.

A "likely mover" score can come from public market movement — a reduction, a withdrawal, stale stock — or from someone who contacted Homemove directly and asked for help selling. Property Reveal treats those two sources very differently, and it decides which one applies on the server, never from what your browser sends.

Market-data matches reveal freely

A price reduction, a withdrawn listing, a fall-through, stale or landlord stock — these come from open market movement, not from a person telling us anything in confidence. These reveal as a normal paid unmask, single or in bulk.

First-party signals need real consent

If the strongest signal is someone asking Homemove for a valuation or to be put in touch with an agent, we only unmask their address if they gave marketing consent themselves, after our current privacy notice went live. No consent, no address — you get an anonymised area read instead, and you're never charged for it.

A mixed signal stays cautious

If a property has both an aged first-party signal and a fresh market one, it still gets the more careful treatment — a person who once asked Homemove for a valuation doesn't lose that protection just because the wider market caught up. When in doubt, we fold to the more restrictive rule, not the more profitable one.

This isn't a certification or a legal opinion — it's how the reveal decision is built: server-resolved, never trusted from the browser, and recorded with the lawful basis behind every unmasked address. Your own use of any revealed address should still follow your normal data-protection and canvassing obligations.

Bulk reveal

A whole hot cluster, one receipt.

Tick every likely mover in a street, ward or cohort and hit Reveal all. The quote is one round-trip — not a check per home — and it's honest about exactly what's free, what's included, what's payable and what simply can't be sold.

One quote, four honest buckets

Already-revealed homes and anything your monthly allowance covers show as free. Anything beyond that shows the real payable total, and anything consent-gated is marked as simply not for sale — never quoted a price it will never actually cost.

Or skip the reveal entirely

Not every hot cluster needs unmasking. Add to canvass sends the whole selection straight to Canvassing Campaigns — we address every letter at print, so no reveal credit is spent and no address ever passes through your screen. Reveal is for when you specifically want to call or knock the door yourself.

If your wallet can't quite cover the payable total, the same panel offers an in-context top-up sized to the exact shortfall — pay, and it finishes the batch automatically. No separate trip to Billing.

Every reveal in the batch runs the full single-reveal pipeline server-side — the same lane fold, consent check and idempotency as a one-off reveal. A batch can never be more permissive than reviewing each home yourself.

If your allowance runs dry mid-batch and the next reveal would bust your confirmed budget, the run stops cleanly — nothing is spent beyond what you agreed to.

The old way

Guesswork vs the exact door.

Working out which home in a hot cluster is the mover — and who to address the letter to — used to mean a Land Registry title search per property, a wait for it to come back, and a fee whether or not the title's current. Property Reveal collapses that into one screen.

A day in the life

Desk to doorstep, same afternoon.

Three moments in a canvassing round built on Property Reveal — from picking the cluster to a named letter through the right door.

1 · At the desk

Pick the cluster

Patch has already scored this street's reductions and stale stock. Select the whole hot cluster on the map and hit Reveal all — one quote for the lot.

2 · Confirm and unmask

Read the receipt, confirm

Two are already free, three sit inside this month's allowance, one is consent-gated. The rest confirm in a tap — the exact addresses land on screen and in the Revealed list.

Whether you print through Letter Designer or knock the door yourself, every address on the round is addressed to a person — and every one is already logged for follow-up.

Who uses Property Reveal

Built for whoever is chasing the next instruction.

Anyone with access to Patch on your account can reveal — the branch-level allowance and wallet are shared, so the whole team draws from the same pool.

New-instruction hunters

Multi-branch groups

Groups running several branches reveal against a shared allowance and wallet, with the patch-licence gate keeping each branch inside its own bought outcodes.

Ops managers watching spend

Branch managers who want reveal spend attributed to outcomes — every reveal logs an engagement signal that Scoreboard can trace through to a valuation or instruction.

Your Revealed list

A ledger of what you've already bought.

Every reveal — single or from a batch — is recorded against your branch: which lane it came from, what it cost, and when. Filter by lane, page through the branch's whole history, and check what's already unlocked before you pay for it again.

The list itself stays deliberately careful with the data: it shows the street with the house number masked, the outcode, the lane and the cost — proof of what you bought, not a place to browse raw addresses. To see the confirmed address again, open the same pin on the map or list — the re-reveal is instant and free, because you've already paid for it once.

How it's priced

Pay per address, never a surprise.

Property Reveal has no separate subscription. It draws from your plan's included allowance first, and only reaches your wallet once that's used.

A monthly allowance, included

Every plan carries a small number of included reveals each calendar month, drawn down first — Founder-250 and an active Home Intel subscription both carry a larger allowance than the base plan. Reveals inside your allowance cost nothing extra.

Beyond that, pay per reveal

Once the monthly allowance is used, each further reveal bills your branch's wallet directly — a small per-address rate that's higher for the more sensitive, consent-gated lane than for ordinary market-data matches. No lock-in, no minimum spend.

The number, before the button

A single reveal shows a Confirm charge dialog naming the exact cost — or "no charge" — before it happens. A bulk selection gets one instant receipt for the whole batch. Nothing is ever billed on a guess.

Where the time goes

A cluster of ten, two different ways.

Illustrative estimate, not a measured average — actual time depends on the property and how you currently trace ownership. Shown to make the shape of the saving clear, not to promise a number.

FAQ

Common questions about Property Reveal

What does Property Reveal actually unmask?

Which specific property Patch has scored as a likely mover — its full postal address, confirmed out of the masked cluster, plus the occupier's name so you can address the letter. Nothing is shown up front — the map and list only ever show a masked street and outcode until you tap Reveal (or Reveal all on a bulk selection).

How much does a reveal cost?

Every reveal draws first from a small monthly allowance included in your plan — Founder-250 and active Intel subscribers get a larger allowance than the free grant. Once that's used, further reveals bill your wallet at a small per-address rate. You always see the exact cost in a Confirm charge dialog before anything is debited, and a bulk selection gets one instant receipt covering the whole batch.

Do I get charged twice if I reveal the same address again?

No. Re-opening a property you've already revealed for that branch is free and instant — it's a lookup against your own Revealed list, not a repeat purchase.

What if my wallet balance is too low for a bulk reveal?

The batch quote shows exactly what's already free, what your allowance covers and what's payable before you confirm anything. If your wallet is short, the same panel offers an in-context top-up sized to the shortfall, then finishes the reveal — no separate trip to Billing and no lost selection.

Does every likely-mover match reveal an address?

No, and this is deliberate. Some of the strongest signals come from someone who has contacted Homemove directly — asking for a valuation, requesting an agent — and those addresses only unmask with that person's own marketing consent, given after the date our updated privacy notice went live. Without it, you get an anonymised area read instead of a name, and you are never charged for it.

Can I reveal any property, or just ones in my patch?

Just your patch. Property Reveal is licensed to the outcodes you hold — bought or founding — across every branch on your account. A property outside all of them can't be revealed, paid or not, even if Patch shows it as a strong match.

What happens to an address after I reveal it?

It's added to your Revealed list — a running record of every address you've bought, with the source lane, the cost and the date, so you or a colleague can find it again without paying twice or wondering what's already been unlocked.

Can I mail an address without revealing it first?

Yes. Add to canvass sends your whole selection straight to Canvassing Campaigns and we address the letters at print — no reveal credit is spent and no address passes through your screen. Reveal is only for when you want to call or knock the door yourself.

Is Property Reveal a separate product from Patch?

No — it's the paid unmask step built directly into Patch. Any pin or list row Patch has scored as a likely mover can be revealed, single or in bulk, from the same map and list you already use to find them.

Does a reveal use my monthly allowance or my wallet first?

Allowance first, always. Every plan includes a number of reveals a month at no extra cost — more if you're on Founder-250 or an active Intel subscription. Only once that allowance is used for the month does a reveal bill your wallet, and the confirm dialog tells you which one is happening before you commit.
