Rex Software is now connected to Home
Rex Software connects to Home via API feed. Listings sync automatically, with updates flowing through every 15 minutes on active feeds.
Rex Software is now connected to Home
Home now supports Rex Software as a direct CRM integration. If your agency runs Rex, you can connect your account to Home and have your listings publish automatically, without any copy-and-paste or manual file uploads.
The connection type
Rex integrates with Home via our API feed route. Once you authorise the connection, Home polls your Rex feed on a rolling cycle. Stable feeds are checked every 15 minutes. If a feed has been quiet, the interval extends gradually up to a maximum of two hours. Any new change, a price update, a status change to sold or let, a new photo set, snaps the polling back to 15 minutes. We cover the mechanics of that backoff behaviour in more detail in how our CRM sync works.
This means your Rex data and what buyers see on Home stay closely aligned throughout the day.
Getting connected
The setup wizard is inside your Home agent dashboard at home.co.uk/agents. It covers the Rex-specific steps: where to find your API token inside Rex, how to paste it into the Home dashboard, and how to run a test to confirm listings are flowing correctly. The process takes around ten minutes for most agents.
If you are not yet registered on Home, claim your agency profile first, then return to the dashboard to add the Rex integration.
What syncs across
The Rex API exports the standard listing fields: address, asking price, bedrooms, bathrooms, property type, description, photos, and floorplan links. Home maps these directly to your property pages on home.co.uk/properties/to-buy and home.co.uk/properties/to-rent.
Fields that Rex does not include in its API output will not appear on Home. If something looks missing, check the Rex export settings in your Rex account first. If it is enabled in Rex and still absent on Home, reach out to our support team with an example listing reference.
Multi-office agencies
Rex supports multi-office setups and the Home integration follows the same structure. Listings from all offices linked to your Rex account come through in a single feed. They display under the appropriate branch on your Home profile.
Why API over manual upload
Manual portal uploads are time-consuming and prone to lag. A price change made in Rex at 9am should be visible to buyers that morning, not the following day when someone remembers to update another system. The API connection removes that gap.
Rex is one of 18 estate agent CRMs now connected to Home. If you use Rex alongside another CRM for a different part of your business, speak to our agent support team before creating multiple connections on the same profile.
Home currently lists 1,249,531 live properties for sale and to rent across the UK, so a fast, accurate feed from Rex matters: listings that lag behind your CRM by even a day show stale prices or a "sold" property still marked available.
Sync timing described here reflects standard operation. Actual intervals may vary based on feed volume and server conditions.
