Survey was good when I got it. A shame I had to chase it!

Very professional, attended when they said provided their report on time, detail in report was what I needed to make an informed choice

Fairly quick level 3 report done and had a follow up phone call with them to check a few things. Very happy with the service.

A shame really because we decided to use Homemove for the easy-to-use website, the ease of booking and the good media coverage which indicated it was reliable. However, without any remediation, we are unlikely to use Homemove again. Surveyors were initially scheduled to come on Wednesday 15th April. However, they didn’t show up, even though the estate agents reconfirmed it on Tuesday 14th April. The builder was waiting for them there for an hour. Apparently, the surveyor took emergency medical leave yet failed to notify us until 30 mins after the appointment was scheduled. Once rescheduled, the survey also missed cosmetic finishes despite committing to do so. For example, we spotted paint chip in the bathroom ceiling and paint brush marks to the right hand side of the staircase at low level, but these weren’t included.

Really easy to communicate with. Matt from IQS has saved me time, money and hassle with his discovery of servere damp. So much so. I pullled out of a house purchase. I noticed a loose floor board in the property. Informed IQS that it maybe a way to get a look under the floor. They passed it on to Matt. I'm so thankful they did. Lots of details in the other areas of the level 3 survey. Bitter sweet i suppose you could say. Don't hesitate to use IQS.

Very thorough survey, completed to schedule. Slight damage caused to one window, which was dealt with promptly, otherwise would have been five star.

It was thorough and comprehensive survey and report. However I noted they did not survey the freestanding garage unit nearby and was unclear why this was.

This was the fist time using Homemove or IQS and both companies were very easy to deal with. The survey was carried out very quickly which was the reason I chose them and the report came ahead of their quoted timeframe.

Very good report which gives a clear understanding of the property I'm buying.

The survet report was concise, very factual and covered all the aspects of the property which may have inherant problems or possible problems. The conclusion was there was nothing untoward for a house constructed in 1968 and normal maintenance would take care of all the items pointed out for attention.

Good, quick and easy to arrange, thorough report provided within 3 days of the survey taking place.

I have paid an extra fee for a valuation and here I am 10 days later and it hasn't been sent.. it wasn't in with my survey report, and I've been told it's seperate, but why? I have had them together before. I honestly think you forgot to include it and are not admitting your mistake... Also promised 5-7 days and this is day 10...

Quick appointment. Good report with concise understandable summaries supported with photographic evidence. Quick response when requesting a follow-up discussion with the surveyor. Very good and informative follow-up with the surveyor who clarified the questions I had. Highly recommended.

It took a long time to get the report back. I had to follow it up a few times. All details within the report are good.

We were very impressed with our L2 Surveyor. The report contained lots of helpful information and felt very thorough. The accompanying photos were really helpful too. The whole process from booking to completion has been straightforward.

My survey date was late and I was advised I would get my results in 5-7 working days, which I also did not

Took 10 days for results to come through! I even called twice beforehand to chase it up! It was the woman (name not known) who was helpful on the phone, the guys were very blunt!

The survey itself was good. The booking and time that it took to complete was longer than I expected when paying privately. However, I would use them again, bearing that in mind.

A few pictures to show what some of the comments meant would have been useful to understand the report. However very thorough.

It was easy to arrange

Fantastic company highly recommend them to anyone looking for a home survey.

I particularly asked for a level 3 survey to check out what was a swimming pool and converted to a bedroom with a basement. Report came in without this being checked!

The survey was very comprehensive, was clearly competently fulfilled and shared photographic evidence where necessary. We had hoped for a quicker turn around based on previous experience of a Level 2 survey.
