About this property

Beautifully presented from top to bottom, this superb four-bedroom detached family home occupies a generous plot in one of South Brent's most sought-after locations, enjoying stunning views towards Dartmoor from the rear.

The current owners have modernised the property throughout to create a stylish home that is ready to move straight into. An entrance hallway welcomes you inside, providing access to the integral garage before leading into a beautifully refitted contemporary kitchen. To the rear of the property, a spacious lounge/dining room spans the full width of the house, creating a fantastic family and entertaining space, with double doors opening onto the landscaped garden.

Upstairs, the first floor offers four well-proportioned bedrooms together with a stunning modern family bathroom, finished to a high standard.

Outside, the property continues to impress. A driveway provides off-road parking and leads to the integral garage, while the generous rear garden has been thoughtfully landscaped to make the most of its elevated position and spectacular outlook towards Dartmoor. The addition of a detached garden office, complete with power and broadband, provides the perfect space for those working from home, running a business or simply looking for a peaceful retreat.

Further benefits include double glazing, gas central heating and a location that combines village living with excellent access to the A38, making this an exceptional family home.

Owners' Comments

We bought this house because we needed somewhere big enough for our family of five. We loved that it was detached, had a great-sized garden, and was a complete project that we could make into our own home.

The village is fantastic. It has a great primary school, loads of lovely walks, and you can walk up to the Beacon and all around the village. It's a really safe place for children to play, with great access to the A38, and it's close to Totnes and Plymouth. You can even be at the beach within about half an hour, so it's just a really great place to live.

The thing we'll miss most is the absolute peace and quiet. Sitting outside in the evening, watching the sun go down with a nice glass of wine, has been so special. The sunsets are spectacular, and when the stars come out they're phenomenal. Coupled with having such lovely neighbours next door, it's going to be very hard to leave.
