What this property offers
About this property
To the front of the property there is a hardstanding providing parking for two cars, with side access leading through to the rear garden.
You enter the property through a hallway with stairs leading up to the first floor. From here you can access the main living areas. The lounge is a comfortable room and a good place to relax, while the dining area sits to the rear of the house and has French doors opening out onto the garden. This brings in plenty of natural light and makes it a nice space for family meals, especially in the warmer months when the doors can be opened up to the garden.
The kitchen is fitted with a range of oak units with oak worktops and an inset sink, providing plenty of storage and workspace. There is plumbing for a washing machine, along with a four-ring gas hob and built-in oven. Windows to the side and rear allow plenty of natural light into the room, and a door gives direct access out to the rear garden.
There is an additional room on the ground floor which is currently used as a playroom. This is a really useful extra space and could easily be used as a home office, study, hobby room or snug depending on what is needed.
Upstairs there are three good-sized bedrooms, offering plenty of space for a family or for anyone needing a spare room or home office. The family bathroom is fitted with a three-piece suite.
Outside, the rear garden is mainly laid to lawn and is enclosed with fencing, making it a safe and private space for children or pets. There is also side access back around to the front of the house.
Bulwark is a well-liked area of Chepstow and is popular with families as it is within walking distance of local schools, shops, and everyday amenities. Chepstow town centre is also not far away and offers a range of independent shops, supermarkets, cafés, and restaurants.
The area is well known for its access to the beautiful Wye Valley, which offers some fantastic walking and cycling routes. The Wye Valley Greenway is particularly popular and runs through the old railway tunnel, giving a unique cycling and walking route through the valley. It’s a great place to explore, whether on foot or by bike.
There are also some excellent pubs and places to eat around Chepstow and the surrounding villages, many of them set in lovely countryside locations. With the River Wye, woodland walks, and open countryside close by, it’s an area that offers a great mix of town convenience and outdoor lifestyle.
Chepstow is also well placed for commuting, with the nearby M48 and easy access onto the M4 motorway, making travel to Bristol, Newport, and Cardiff straightforward.
