Meet Inigo: the AI assistant for estate agents on Home

Inigo launched in December 2025 as Home's built-in AI assistant. It sits inside the agent platform and handles three things agents tell us consume most of their time: answering routine buyer questions, generating valuations, and identifying new canvassing opportunities.

This post explains what Inigo does and where the limits are.

What Inigo is

Inigo is a multi-tool orchestration layer. Rather than wrapping a single AI model, it coordinates across several of them, checking outputs against each other before surfacing a result. The goal is answers that are useful and honest rather than fast and confident. Speed matters, but not at the cost of an agent staking their reputation on a figure the AI invented.

The three tools available at launch are:

Valuation. Inigo generates an estimated price range for any residential property using a council of models: GPT-4o-Vision reads listing photographs and layout, an algorithmic comparable engine pulls recent sold prices in the postcode, and a cross-model consensus step reconciles the outputs. The result is a range with a stated confidence level, not a single number presented as fact. We go into more detail on how this works in inside the multi-LLM valuation council.

Canvassing. The canvassing tool uses PostGIS to search within a configurable radius for competitor listings that have been on the market longer than a threshold you set, and for properties with no current listing at all. It draws on the 1,249,531 live UK listings Home tracks at any one time, so the shortlist reflects the actual state of the market in your patch, not a stale export. The output is a list of addresses for a letter or a call. Agents using the tool during the beta told us it took about 20 minutes to generate a list that would previously have taken half a morning.

Q&A. Buyers send a lot of the same questions: school catchment, council tax band, broadband speeds, flood risk. Inigo can draft responses to these from structured data where it exists. Agents review and send; nothing goes to a buyer without a human in the loop.

What Inigo is not

It is not a replacement for an agent's judgement. A valuation range is a starting point for a conversation, not a figure to quote in a pitch. The Q&A drafts need checking. The canvassing shortlist is a lead list, not a confirmed pipeline.

We have tried to be explicit about uncertainty inside the product. Where Inigo is working from limited comparables, it says so. Where a question falls outside the data it has access to, it declines to answer rather than guessing.

How to get access

Inigo is available to all agents on Home from December 2025. Listings on Home are free for agents, as explained in why listings on Home are free for estate agents; if you are not yet listed on the platform, you can apply at estate agents on Home. Setup takes a few minutes and does not require a long-term commitment.

We will be expanding Inigo's toolset in early 2026. Feedback from agents in the beta has shaped the launch version; if you have requests for what comes next, send them through the platform.
