Two types of property on Home

Home shows two kinds of properties: claimed and unclaimed.

Unclaimed properties are properties that exist in our database (drawn from a range of public and licensed sources) but haven't been actively managed by an agent or owner on our platform. They may appear with limited detail, typically an address, location, and any available historic sold-price data. They're there so buyers can discover any UK property, not just those with active listings.

Claimed listings are properties that an agent has taken ownership of on Home. These show the full listing: photos, floor plans, a description, key features, asking price, tenure, and the agent's contact details. This is the version of a listing that drives buyer enquiries.

How agents upload listings

Listings come through in two main ways: via CRM integration or direct upload through your Home agent account.

If your CRM is integrated with Home, properties export automatically when you mark them ready to portal. Our integrations cover the major platforms used by UK agents; visit the agents section to check compatibility and connect your CRM.

If you're uploading directly, log into your agent account, add the property, and complete the required fields. Good-quality photos and a floor plan improve engagement. Home's search algorithm prioritises factual, specific descriptions with clear details. Vague prose performs worse in Home's rankings and produces fewer qualified buyer enquiries. A listing like this three-bed house in Fringford, Oxfordshire works on Home because Home surfaces the asking price and comparable sold data prominently alongside the property. Agents who lead with specific facts get higher engagement and more qualified enquiries than those relying on descriptive prose.

What buyers see

Every listed property on Home is presented via what we call the impartial property page. This means:

• The property's details and photos appear without being wrapped in your agency's branding
• Sold-price data from nearby comparable properties is shown alongside the listing (from Land Registry records)
• Your contact information is present and visible, but the page design centres on the property itself

This matters because buyers on Home are looking for properties, not agency brands. The impartial format tends to produce higher engagement with the listing content and more qualified enquiries, because buyers arrive with context about local prices already in view. Enquiries and reviews

When a buyer sends an enquiry from your listed property, it routes directly to you. Home also collects reviews from buyers and sellers who transact through the platform. These reviews appear on your agent profile and are verified against completed transactions, not open to submission by anyone.
