“We bought the property as it is a beautiful Edwardian era house, with characterful features, convenient distance from local amenities and a lovely large rear garden. We have been very lucky to have enjoyed and improved the established garden for over ten years that supports a variety of birds and butterflies. There are mature holly trees, a maple tree, edible cherry tree, Rowan, silver birch and service berry amongst shrubs and flowering clematis. The rose garden are all David Austin roses and easy care and include the beautifully scented Emily Brontë roses. In the front garden there is an established white lilac tree which flowers every spring. We will miss the spring flowers in the garden, the walk to the park, and the short drive to the beach. There are two outbuildings with power. One of them has previously housed a kiln for ceramics, the other for laundry.”
