Located in the very popular area of Upton, and sitting on the modern 'Upton Pines' development, you're within easy reach of shops just around the corner, handy transport links and if you have children, there are some excellent schools for all ages, just a short walk away.
As you pull up outside, the first thing I noticed was just how well the area was kept, and I think you can tell a lot rom how your neighbourhood is.
There's a driveway for two cars directly outside your front door, and a small covered shelter sits above the front door, you know for when it's chucking it down and you're fumbling for keys, there is a degree of protection from the elements before you step inside.
Once in, it's a nice and light, thanks to the panel windows in the front door, entrance hallway. With the crisp white walls and quality wood effect floor that welcomes you in, adding a real touch of class. There's ample space for shoes and coats, with a fixed floor mat, to keep the lovely floor clean. A staircase rises to the first floor, not to point the obvious out.
The first door that we come to, opens to the kitchen / diner. Fitted with modern stylish floor and wall mounted units, storage will not be a problem in here. Work surfaces cover two walls and provide you with plenty of space for food preparation and also a place for the many 21st Century Gadgets that we've become so reliant on today. Everything that you'll need is integrated, and there's a four ring gas hob with stainless steel extractor for your egg and chips, well it doesn't have to Cordon Bleu all the time!
At the other end of the kitchen is the dining area. Here you can quite comfortably fit a four seat table and chairs, for friends and family to come and enjoy times with you. You could, with the help of a professional builder, remove part of the wall that separates the hallway, just to create a little more space. This is only and idea if you love entertaining, and I doubt it would cost too much money.
Back into the hallway and underneath the staircase are two doors, one half sized one opens to a very handy storage area, for all the things we need, but don't want on show, and the other opens to:
The cloakroom. This is beautifully designed and fitted with the latest kit. There's a vanity sink unit and stainless steel mixer tap, with useful storage below and then of course, the obligatory toilet. Once you've had a cloakroom, you'll never be able to live without one again. The same quality floor runs in here too.
The final room at the end of the corridor opens to the lounge. This is a generous sized room, quite capable of taking some large sofas as well as a good amount of free standing furniture. I would always suggest buying a bracket for your TV, as today, unlike in my days, TV's are meant to fit on walls and very easily too! This frees up the floor space for other things. A set of patio doors allow ample light to flow in here and also give access to the private rear garden.
Outside there is a patio area, great for BBQ's and entertaining or just to simply sit and enjoy a nice cuppa or glass of wine at the end of the day. The garden does have a fence at the end that, which could be removed to increase the size of the garden, but that's all depending if you have green fingers or not.
Returning back inside and up the stairs, we come to a decent sized landing, with the first door opening into the third bedroom.
Currently this is being used as a home studio, of which is seems to be made for, but you could get a bed in here and some furniture, if you needed a third bedroom. The window, on normal occasions, would allow plenty of light in.
The next room around the landing opens to the decent sized second bedroom. This is capable of taking a large double bed and other pieces of accompanying furniture, with the added bonus of having a built in wardrobe with mirrored doors, for space saving measures. It's a well-planned room with a rear facing window, for letting the ligh in during the day and star gazing at night.
The family bathroom sits in the middle of the main and second bedrooms, ideally positioned to suit all. With its modern stylish contemporary suite that has everything you'll need to keep clean. A panelled bath with hand held shower attachment over, of course there's a glass screen to avoid water spillage, with tiled walls for easy maintenance. There's a very sheik vanity sink unit with ample storage below and then the fitted toilet that is built in too. A large mirror fills the whole wall, so that more than one person can put their make-up on at once.......moving with the times darling!
Lastly, we come to the main bedroom. Much bigger then the second, as you'd expect, this offers a larger degree of comfort. Another built in wardrobe with fitted mirrored sliding doors helps create a larger space for more free standing furniture. This room can take a king sized bed as well as other items. The window looks out over the front aspect, offering light in the day and stars at night.
