Peaceful location, as if you’re not in london but the countryside. Surrounded by green trees, bird song and the view of a private lake. The lake can be seen from the living room, balcony and one of the bedrooms.
The kitchen has modern appliances, including an electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher.
The square footage of the entire flat is a decent size and is a corner flat so maximises the windows. 900 square metres.
Communal grounds also has a picnic area and children’s swings.
The flat is on the ground floor from the road, but as the buildings on a hill, the flat appears as if it’s on the first floor (hence the balcony).
There’s two large cupboards in the hallway. One contains the hot water tank and the washing machine plus additional room for storage . The second can be used for storage.
The main bedroom has a built in wardrobe with mirror.
The flat comes part furnished, including the beds. How much furniture you’d like is up to you. I intend to take some items with me but if there’s things you want to keep / or bring is up for discussion. Or unfurnished if preferred.
There’s an onsite gym in the lower ground. Has weights/strength training, bikes, running, steps and rowing machines.
Ideally I’m looking for someone who wants to stay for at least a year. The bills aren’t included in the rent. I can either add on an extra charge to cover the bills (gas, elec, water, internet, council tax) if only a short term let or we can put them in your name and you pay separately. As it’s a new build it’s very warm, so not much heating is needed. Bills are expected to be approx £300 to £350 per month (so £150 extra pp)
Transport - Woolwich is very well located. The flat is a 10 minute walk to both the Elizabeth Line and the main national rail station (Woolwich Arsenal) and the DLR. The Elizabeth line is 20 minutes to Tottenham Court Rd, or 10 mins to Canary Wharf. Other stops are Liverpool St, Whitechapel, Bond St and Paddington. The DLR can take you to Bank or Stratford via the london city airport. The national rail has trains to London Bridge in 20 minutes, or to Waterloo or Charing Cross via places like Greenwich, Blackheath or Lewisham. Buses from the road outside take you in 20 minutes to the 02 arena (and jubilee line at North Greenwich)
Parking - there are some free parking places on the street outside and nearby streets. However they're limited and on a first come first served basis.
Note about myself - this is my own flat. I’m looking to rent it out as I’ve moved in with my partner.
