When we first viewed this property, we absolutely loved the location and knew this house had great potential, all these years later and works completed we still love all it has to offer!
After completion we embarked upon a huge project around 10 years ago to include: a double storey wrap around extension creating an entrance porch, large kitchen/diner, utility and the extra reception room. Upstairs the fifth bedroom was added, large master bedroom with the walk-in wardrobe and ensuite. We also increased the size of the family bathroom. We added new windows throughout. This was a labour of love which completely changed this house into a home.
Upon entering you are greeted with the entrance lobby leading through to our beautiful kitchen/diner. Open plan, simple muted décor, methodically designed with wonderful natural light flowing through from the patio doors. We added under floor heating which is such a treat during these winter months. It is the perfect place for family life as well as entertaining with the island and seating around it. This is truly the heart of this home.
We have our utility room which is entirely separate.
There are two reception rooms, our main family lounge and a second family room. This offers flexibility for family life and again ideal for entertaining. The second room would make an ideal home office.
There is a cloakroom and large storage cupboard.
Outside you will find our private enclosed rear garden. It is peaceful and tranquil for enjoying the summer sunshine and barbeques with the family.
Upstairs you will find our master bedroom, a great size with dressing room and en-suite. We have a further four bedrooms all of which are a good size. Our family bathroom is again of generous proportions and has a beautiful bath and a walk-in shower.

Our home is perfectly situated a short walk from the old town hustling and bustling with bars, restaurants and an array of boutique shops. It is picturesque and offers every amenity. We have the main line train station with its high speed links to London within 30 minutes. We are in the catchment area to excellent local schools to include Letchmore Infant school, Barclay Academy, John Henry Newman & Thomas Alleynes.
