We have loved living in Waverton and hadn’t actually planned to move. Number 44 was purchased having spent four years looking for the ideal house that ticked all of our criteria for a growing family: Detached In the catchment area of, and walkable distance to Ofsted Outstanding school Parking for multiple cars Garage/workshop Private garden Since moving here we have modernised with high tech features including energy efficient smart controls for heating, access systems, lighting, smart bath and shower controls. We’ve also made it as practical as possible, with young family friendly hard floors through the ground floor and plenty of storage. We’ve always considered extending sideways to give additional bedrooms on the first floor and informal conversations with the planning department suggest that this would be possible. Waverton itself is a fantastic place to live with really friendly village community feel and useful local amenities including a park, bike track and playground. We have loved being close enough to Chester to walk in along the canal, but also being on the edge of the fantastic Cheshire countryside. We’ll be sorry to leave both the house and the neighbours, but happy that another family will have the opportunity to benefit from living in number 44.
