Sellers's Comment:Our initial reason to move here was to accommodate our growing family and take advantage of the good local schools. We purchased in 1979 off-plan from the developer, Bovis Homes. We raised our 3 children here and took full advantage of our close proximity to the Frimley Green recreation ground, the local woods off St Catherine’s Road, and the Basingstoke canal, as well as Tesco Local, a pharmacy and take-away shops. Frimley Park Hospital is also just a short 15 minute walk away. We have ample off-road parking and although residents have come and gone over the years, it’s always been a very friendly community, and as well as our house one other property is still occupied by the original owner.
Chris's Comment:This is such a popular location for everyone, whether it's for the local schools, commuting or just being part of a lovely community. The home itself has been beautifully looked after over the years, and kept up to date too, there's so much ground floor space for a three bedroom home! Don't take my word for it, come and see for yourself.
Area Comment:Frimley is located within 30 miles from central London with excellent transport links nearby, including junction 4 of the M3 just a few minutes drive away, and the mainline train stations of Farnborough and Brookwood providing quick access into central London. There are a wealth of local amenities on hand; however, Camberley town centre is also located just a 10 minute drive away. For schooling, there are outstanding local schools catering for all ages of education, most of which are within walking distance of Oldbury Close.
