The park is conveniently located just half a mile from the well-served village of Kilkhampton, which provides a good range of local shops and services including a butcher, two public houses, a Premier Store, Co-op, and various independent businesses.

There is easy access from the park onto the A39, offering excellent links to the coastal resort of Bude — home to two further sandy beaches and major supermarkets. To the north, the A39 connects to Bideford, Barnstaple, and the M5 motorway.
