We were so happy to have found this home when it was being built 20 years ago - we love Shinfield as a location and it's only got better over the years. It was great for before and after we had children.
We liked having a snug and cozy living room at the front with a kitchen/diner at the back - it's where the family and friends tend to congregate and we've hosted many a BBQ in the summer! The bedrooms are all a nice size and we loved that the main bedroom already had fitted wardrobes and overlooks the garden. You get the morning sun from the main bedroom which is lovely to wake up to.
It's been great being such a short walk to the school, local parks and pubs and it's been easy commuting into Reading and London here over the years too.
The time has come for us to move onto the next chapter and having lived here for 20 years since it was built, is a testament to the lovely neighbours and safe surroundings.

You're also just a short walk from the popular Shinfield Arms pub, offering great food and a brilliant beer garden.Within Shinfield village itself, you have all your needed amenities, such as a post office, Crumbs cafè, Co-Op and soon to open Lidl store. You have various options for schools in the area, including Alder Grove, Oakbank and Crossfields Independent just a short walk away, making this a great family home and area.
If you need to commute you are really well connected with public transport links into Reading and Wokingham, whist also only being a few minute's drive from junction 11 of the M4 and the new train link at Green Park.
