Description
There are two double bedrooms, and a single. The bathroom is a good size, with a window to the front. There is a toilet washroom on the ground floor, coming off the utility room, which has an external door to the garden, and which comes off the Kitchen. The flooring in these areas has dark slate tiling.
The Kitchen is a good size, with a duel oven and a dishwasher. The uility room has space for a Washing machine and Dryer, or a fridge. There is gas fired central heating throughout, including the Orangery, controlled by a Hive wireless thermometer controller.
The Orangery was built in 2019, with Council planning approval, and signed off by Building Regs, and is approx 4m x 4m.
There is a Lounge Diner, with a bay window at the front, and French doors at the rear. This is an excellent entertainment space, around 10-11 metres in length, and between 3- 4mtrs wide. The whole area has Natural oak Karndean flooring.
The front is fenced, with parking for two cars. There is an outside water tap and duel plug electrical supply in the garden, which has a side gate to the front of the property.
The house is a short walk to the Town centre, which is largely pedestrianised with Cafes, Restaurants, Pubs and small private shops. The house is about 10 mins walk from the mainline Baldock Railway station, which runs between Cambridge and London's Kings Cross/ St Pancras. There is also good access to the A1 and the A505.
The area is well served for grocery stores, a Tesco Superstore in Baldock, and a Sainsbury's, Aldi, and Lidl, a short walk away in Letchworth Garden City. There is an outdoor swimming pool in Letchworth along with a nice traditional Cinema, both a few minutes drive.
There are several community led events held in Baldock throughout the year, such as the October Chartered Street Fair in the Town centre, along with a Music festival weekend, a Grand lunch for residents, along with a Beer festival, a Fireworks display, and a local football team. There are several good junior schools, a short walk away, and a well respected senior school, "Knights Templar" which is a five minute walk on the otherside of Avenue Park.
