The resort can be easily accessed from the A77, the coastal road that stretches from the ferry port of Stranraer in the Southwest of Ayrshire, hugging the coastline before moving inwards towards Glasgow and beyond.
The area is well known for its outstanding beauty, the coastline and its abundance of world class link golf courses such as Royal Troon and Turnberry.
The area lends itself to hillwalking, trails and outdoor pursuits along with sport and leisure activities.
The nearby town of Girvan provides numerous supermarkets, restaurants and other local amenities. There is also great rail and bus transport links to Glasgow and nearby Prestwick Airport.
Leisure Facilities
The main reception building is of block and render construction with part timber cladding.
The building houses an indoor swimming pool, table tennis, gym, showers and toilets. In addition, there are communal areas for reading and relaxing along with a café bar serving food and beverages. To the rear of the building, reached by patio doors sits an external sitting area and putting green. The whole building was recently refurbished to include the gym and other upgrades.
Workshop & Stores
The main workshop is of corrugated steel construction with roller shutter doors and is predominantly used for storage of various park equipment, the laundry and general workshop and upkeep facilities and is situated in a quiet, secluded area of the resort away from any of the lodge areas.
The lodge park consists of the following:

88 lodges onsite (83 company owned and five privately owned) within a private estate of approximately 31.5 acres.

12-month operating licence.

Leisure facilities including a fully equipped gym, indoor swimming pool, table tennis, pool table, café and customer toilets and showers. The is in addition staff areas including the main staff office.

There is an outdoor children’s playground to the rear of the leisure facility.

Various company outbuildings and workshops are located throughout the park.
Services
We understand that the resort is connected to the main three phase electricity supply and connected to lodges via separate meters.
There is mains drainage and comprehensive Wi-Fi throughout the resort.
The Business
The current owners have owned the park for the last 20 years and decided to diversify their current portfolio and market the resort.
It is an established holiday resort and is well known in the area and beyond attracting local visitors and international visitors alike.
The main income is generated via short term holiday letting of the lodges, presently managed inhouse (48 lodges) and also via a third-party letting company, Landal Green Parks, for the remaining 35 lodges.
Letting prices vary depending on lodge specification, length of stay and dates throughout the year.

The business is run under management with various staff and groundsmen currently employed.
