There are two generously proportioned living/dining rooms designed for comfort and entertaining with the main reception featuring a stunning vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and a large open stone fireplace. The second reception room offers a cosy atmosphere with triple-aspect views, and double doors that open onto a south-facing patio with ample space for table, chairs and hot tub - the perfect spot for evening relaxation or alfresco dining.
The kitchen/breakfast room blends farmhouse charm and modern convenience with stylish painted units, a wooden beamed ceiling, and a large range-style cooker (with gas burners and electric ovens). The utility room is ideally placed at the rear of the home.
Three double bedrooms and two bunk/twin bedrooms, served by a contemporary family bathroom with bath and overhead shower, plus an additional fully tiled shower room complete the accommodation within the main building. There is a single lock-up garage with power and up and over door, with direct road access.
To the rear of the property is a delightful studio featuring open-plan living and a discreet en-suite shower room set behind the bedroom area. The chalet opens via doors to a landscaped stream-lined garden where steps lead up to the generous patio terrace off the main bungalow.
The mature gardens surrounding Streamways are a true highlight, featuring several level terraces, lawned areas, drystone walls, established lavender beds, and an array of fruit trees including an old apple and productive plum trees, along with a thriving grapevine. A wild-grown fenced pond area and large roadside trees enhance the natural appeal. The property enjoys private views down a lush green valley, overlooking a working dairy farm and extending up to the surrounding hills, providing a serene and breathtaking backdrop.
Nestled in the peaceful countryside of Forda, Streamways is just a short stroll from the popular village of Georgeham and its charming amenities. The spectacular Putsborough Beach is easily accessible either via a short drive or a scenic walk, while the vibrant village of Croyde lies just over a mile away, offering further shops, pubs, and eateries. The beach is also reachable on foot via a picturesque half-mile path through dunes from the village.
