Heating is currently via electric Economy 7 storage heaters, and hot water by electric immersion with timer. There's also an electric shower.
There is currently no gas in the flat, but a gas main has recently been run to the building and have been trying to get gas central heating installed to all 5 flats in this block since late 2020, but it is subject to grant funding - and the rules keep changing! There is loft insulation, but an application has also been made for it to be made thicker - to retain more heat. The landlord is continuing to chase these heating and insulation improvement works, but cannot guarantee if and when they will be completed. New rules start in April, so keeping fingers crossed!
The building has actually undergone significant refurbishment and repair since January 2022, including 32 new traditional sliding sash double glazed historic timber windows, roof and wall repairs, new gutters and downpipes.
There is a courtyard at the rear of the property that the tenants can make use of, especially in the warmer months.

All tenants must be non-smokers.
